After a news reporter places the gun in the Senator's hand, the police arrest him. The Senator accuses a pro gun advocate. The pro gun advocate sets out to find the real perpetrators and clear is name.

A con man gets conned by one of his victims into paying for his own hit.

Armed with false financial statements and a web of lies he purchases a large home with nothing down and walks away with a small fortune in his pocket leaving the victims high and dry.

The victims realize they are dealing with a real professional and seek justice through the courts. After the judge awards them millions of dollars in damages they discover that trying to collect money from a con man is nearly impossible.

The greed of high-stakes technology, in its winner-takes-all philosophy, is revealed when the inventor of an innovative technology is murdered, a patent stolen, and millions of dollars are paid to a dummy corporation.

A scientist and his daughter think they've just won the lottery. They are about to cash in on a new display technology when two corporate con men dressed in fancy wrapping steal their idea. The scientist musters up the courage to confront them and ends up dead. The daughter knows who killed her father and hires a smart tenacious private investigator to prove it. One of the con men thinks the other might talk so he hires a hit man to eliminate him and sets up the private investigator to take the fall. It looks as if the con man is home free until the private investigator outsmarts him.

Jake Daniels is a man haunted by nightmares and events that won't seem to leave him in peace.

His job with the FBI is hanging by a thread and now he ahs another serial killer on his hands, something he though he had escaped from when he left the 'big city'.

In a small northern Californian town, someone is killing women in a bizarre fashion. Holidays are supposed to be a special time of year, but the holidays in this town are turning into nightmares. Jake gathers his team: a high-brow psychiatrist from San Francisco, an Aussie cop on loan, an ex-cop who did time for murder and a rookie agent who has something to prove. This team is determined to find the killer, in spite of the local sheriff and the coroner, who view the FBI's intrusion as a challenge.

His interest begins to get out of hand after he witnesses the accidental death of a human and succumbs to the temptation to kill in the name of science until his victims come back to haunt him.
