In this, the third screenplay of the trilogy, the journey continues in Australia
as James and Sam are transported 30,000years back in time to find their lost
child. They encounter prehistoric creatures, unfriendly tribes, and the
shadow creatures. When Gaia is reunited with her twin sister, their DNA
changes the course of the planet. They are transported back to a new
present where prehistoric animals are not extinct and it is apparent that their
mission was a success.
